Coffee Training & Education — Felix G Coaching

The Training Itself

Great coffee is not luck — it is maintenance, technique and consistency. Felix trains your team hands-on, at your machine, in your workflow. No classroom theory, no generic barista course. Just the practical skills that turn an average coffee offering into a reason customers come back daily.

The day covers machine maintenance and cleaning, coffee making skills, dosage and grinder adjustment, and education about coffee beans — how to source and identify the right coffee for your business and your customer base. Built from years of owning and operating venues where coffee paid the rent.

How the Day Looks

Every venue is different — but this is the general structure.

The day starts at the machine. Felix walks your team through daily, weekly and periodic maintenance — backflushing, group head care, steam wand hygiene and cleaning routines that protect both coffee quality and the life of your equipment.

Hands-on coffee making with your team — extraction, milk texturing and pouring, drink builds and speed under pressure. Felix works with each person individually, correcting technique in real time until the result is consistent cup after cup.

Dialling in is where most venues lose money and quality without realising it. Felix teaches your team how to adjust dosage and grind to match the beans, the weather and the day — so the coffee stays right even when he is not in the building.

The day closes with education about coffee beans — origins, roast profiles and flavour, and how to source and identify the right coffee for your business and your customer base. You leave knowing what you are buying and why.

Common Questions

What most business owners ask before booking coffee training.

The base price covers a full day of onsite training — 8-10 hours for up to two people at a single location. Larger teams, multiple venues or ongoing training programs are quoted individually. Custom packages are available — contact Felix directly to discuss.

Owners and staff of cafes, restaurants, bakeries and any venue where coffee matters to the bottom line. Each day covers a maximum of two people, so the training stays hands-on and personal rather than a lecture to a crowd.

Yes — that is the point. The training happens onsite, on the machine and grinder your team uses every day. Skills learned on your own equipment in your own workflow stick, because there is nothing to translate back afterwards.

Custom packages are available for larger teams, multiple venues or ongoing skill development. Felix will discuss what makes sense for your situation — there is no obligation and no hard sell.
